Il due volte campione del mondo rally 2022 e 2023 torna nella Repubblica di San Marino per un Rallylegend all’insegna del puro divertimento e dello spettacolo. Con la Toyota Starlet KP del BMV Rally Team e il navigatore Juuso Nordgren a fianco sarà una delle star assolute dell’evento.
Repubblica di San Marino - Kalle Rovanperä voleva tornare a San Marino. Fortemente. Così il due volte campione del mondo rally, con il primo titolo vinto nel 2022 a 20 anni e 1 giorno - il più giovane iridato di sempre - ha accettato la proposta di essere di nuovo sulle prove speciali sammarinesi e lo farà con una strepitosa Toyota Starlet KP del 1984 del BMV Rally Team, navigato da Juuso Nordgren.
La Toyota Starlet è la macchina con cui è iniziata la storia di Kalle Rovanperä, quella opportunamente allestita nel 2008 per consentire la guida ad un pilota di otto anni di età. E ancora con la Starlet è la sua prima partecipazione ad un rally in Finlandia nel 2015, il Keuruu Miniralli.
Una sorta di ritorno alle origini, dunque. Certo, la Toyota Starlet KP che utilizzerà a Rallylegend 2025 è un po’ diversa. È una “special”, con un motore da 2.5 litri, 360 cavalli di potenza e cambio sequenziale.

Dopo i titoli 2022 e 2023 con la Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 del Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT, Kalle è in lotta quest’anno per il terzo alloro iridato.
Aveva festeggiato il suo primo titolo mondiale, quello del 2022, vinto pochi giorni prima, proprio a Rallylegend. Una grande esclusiva per l’evento sammarinese e anche l’occasione in cui Kalle Rovanperä si è innamorato di Rallylegend, in cui aveva impazzato con una Toyota Celica St 185.
Con un sorriso grande così, Kalle aveva dichiarato a fine Rallylegend 2022: “Da quello che mi avevano raccontato, pensavo che Rallylegend fosse un evento bello e divertente. Adesso che l’ho vissuto posso dire che è molto, molto più bello e divertente di come immaginavo. L’ambiente coinvolgente, il pubblico fantastico, piloti leggendari, macchine stupende, una grande passione per i rally: non ho mai vissuto un evento così”.

The two-time 2022 and 2023 world rally champion will be back to the Republic of San Marino for a Rallylegend dedicated to pure fun and entertainment. With the Toyota Starlet KP of the BMV Rally Team and with Juuso Nordgren at notes, he will be one of the absolute stars of the event.

The Toyota Starlet is the car that began Kalle Rovanperä's story, specially set up in 2008 to allow an eight-year-old driver to drive it. Again, it was with the Starlet that he took part in a rally in Finland in 2015, the Keuruu Miniralli.

After the 2022 and 2023 titles with the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 by Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT, Kalle is fighting for his third world title this year.
He had celebrated his first world title, the 2022 one, won just a few days earlier, at Rallylegend. A great exclusive for the San Marino event, and also the occasion where Kalle Rovanperä fell in love with Rallylegend, where he drove wild in a Toyota Celica ST 185.
With a huge smile, Kalle had stated at the end of Rallylegend 2022: “From what I'd been told, I thought Rallylegend was a great and fun event. Now that I've experienced it, I can say it's much, much better and more fun than I imagined. The engaging atmosphere, the fantastic crowd, legendary drivers, amazing cars, a great passion for rallying: I've never experienced an event like it.”
