Il pilota francese, ufficiale M-Sport, torna sulle speciali sammarinesi, dopo la vittoria a Rallylegend 2020, con la Fiesta WRC M-Sport. Quest’anno sarà al volante della Puma Rally1 Hybrid, con la quale ha conquistato quattro podi ed è attualmente quinto nella classifica generale Piloti WRC
Repubblica di San Marino. La conferma c’è stata nelle ultime ore. Adrien Formaux, pilota francese in forza al team M-Sport nel Campionato Mondiale Rally sarà di nuovo a Rallylegend, al volante della Ford Puma Rally1 Hybrid, con la quale è tra i protagonisti del WRC. Quattro volte sul podio ed un quinto posto nella classifica generale provvisoria del Mondiale Rally raccontano la positiva stagione, fin qui, del ventinovenne di Seclin. A Rallylegend 2024, Formaux parteciperà nella categoria WRC.
Malcolm Wilson ha detto: "Rallylegend è un evento incredibile, vedere così tanti appassionati di rally e così tante fantastiche auto in un unico posto è qualcosa da non perdere. Ho ancora bei ricordi della mia partecipazione, è davvero qualcosa di speciale. È un privilegio poter inviare le ultime macchine Rally1 all'evento e per Adrien tornare per provare a ottenere un'altra vittoria".
Adrien Fourmaux ha detto: "Rallylegend nel 2020 è stata la mia prima esperienza con una World Rally Car, quindi è stato un grande piacere vivere questa esperienza in un evento così famoso. Sarà un piacere venire e partecipare di nuovo e mostrare a tutti gli appassionati fans la Puma Rally1. Vorrei ringraziare gli organizzatori di Rallylegend per aver contribuito a rendere tutto questo possibile e non vedo l'ora di tornare presto a San Marino"
Per Formaux e M-Sport si tratta di un ritorno a Rallylegend, cui avevano partecipato, nella categoria “WRC”, nel 2020, l’anno terribile del Covid19. Formaux aveva vinto, con un primato mai in discussione, in coppia con Renaud Jamoul, con la Ford Fiesta WRC “Plus” ufficiale del team M-Sport, che guidava per la prima volta.
The Frenchman, an official M-Sport driver, will return to the San Marino specials, after winning at Rallylegend 2020 with the Fiesta WRC M-Sport. This year he will be at the wheel of the Puma Rally1 Hybrid, with which he has scored four podiums and currently places fifth in the WRC Drivers’ standings.

It has now been confirmed that Adrien Formaux, the French driver currently competing with team M-Sport in the World Rally Championship, will be back at Rallylegend, driving the Ford Puma Rally1 Hybrid with which he races on the WRC stage. With four podium finishes so far this season, the 29-year-old currently lies fifth in the World Rally standings.
At Rallylegend 2024, Formaux will compete in the WRC category.

I still hold fond memories of my trip there – it really is something special. It is going to be a pleasure to come and participate again and show all the passionate fans the Puma Rally1 car. I would like to thank the organisers of Rallylegend to help make this happen and I am really looking forward to getting back to San Marino again soon”
Both Formaux and M-Sport will be returning to Rallylegend, having competed in the “WRC” category in 2020, the terrible year of the pandemic. Formaux won, a result that was never up for discussion, paired with Renaud Jamoul aboard the M-Sport Factory Ford Fiesta WRC “Plus”, which he was driving for the first time.
